What is Amazon Prime? Well, if you haven’t heard of Amazon, it’s the largest internet shopping site in the world, with just about everything. The customer service and returns are very easy and they often have the lowest prices. “Prime” is a premium subscription, usual $79/year, that includes free two-day shipping and access to a large selection of online videos. I just finished watching the latest season (Season 3) of Downton Abbey and Amazon Prime has all of the Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. shows my daughter is obsessed with (“Team Umizoomi”, “Yo Gabba Gabba”, “Dora”…) that are no longer on Netflix.* Did I mention they are all free??? :)
*Off topic, but if you are curious why the Nickelodeon shows are no longer on Netflix, it is because Viacom, their parent company, did not renew their contract with Netflix. Ah, those busy moments when a little distraction is helpful and “no screen time” ideals fly out the window… yet another reason I’m glad we have Prime.
